Agencies. Another good reason to not "scattergun" CV's



I read an article on LinkedIn where Tom O’Loughlin writes

Under the new GDPR regulations recruitment agencies who send candidates CV’s to clients without that candidate’s express and individual permission may now face fines in millions of euros…

He reckons that is a great thing and so do I. At The Project Pool we will only put a CV forward if the person is known to us. And after we have gone through the contract in detail and they have confirmed they will take the contract.

As a result our stats make compelling reading. We fill each booking with an average of less than 1 CV. (Sometimes we cannot find someone, hence less than one).

The industry average is 59
And we reckon, that as they come personally recommended they are the very best.
